Miriam Berman, 76, a retired public aid case worker, died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. Mrs. Berman was born in Chicago and had lived in the Rogers Park area for 25 years. She worked for the Illinois Department of Public Aid as a case worker from 1957 to 1980. She was a member of the Jewish Community Center at Temple Sholom in Chicago. Survivors include two sons, Allan and Robert, and two sisters. A service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Weinstein Brothers Devon Chapel, 1300 W. Devon Ave.
