The village is considering the approval of a 64-lot residential subdivision but first wants the developer to get a wetlands permit from the Army Corps of Engineers.

The corps must first agree to the developer`s plan to protect the wetlands before issuing the permit.

”We need to be satisfied by the Corps of Engineers that there are no issues of lot numbers before we are able to commit to a preliminary plat approval,” said Village President George Welch.

The subdivision of single-family homes is planned for a plot at Illinois Highway 22 and South Krueger Road.
