Eugenia Sideras, in her review of the movie ”Housesitter” (June 26),)
used the words ”hilarious schizophrenic” in her description of Goldie Hawn. This description is offensive to the parents of children who are afflicted with the brain disease of schizophrenia. There is nothing hilarious about the disease.
The problem with the words and Ms. Sideras usage is that she is using a medical term to describe something that has nothing to do with the disease.
