If Gov. Edgar is so concerned about protecting the horse racing industry from casino gambling, then why is he allowing casino boats in Joliet, Aurora and Elgin? Is it because these areas are highly populated by Republicans?
Casino gambling would help boost and add needed tax revenue. Why should casino gambling be outlawed in Chicago when the rest of the state is benefiting from it?
