The tentative $112 million budget for Palatine-based High School District 211 for fiscal year 1992-93 shows a $6 million increase in spending over last year.
A 6 percent salary increase for teachers, a 5.5 percent increase for administrative staff and rising health-care costs account for most of the increase.
District officials expect to raise $109 million in revenues, including $91 million from a 6 percent increase in the tax levy approved in December. Bond sale revenue will be used to balance the budget.
