Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
I was appalled, dismayed, aghast, upset to read in the Business section on July 4 that the airlines plan to introduce all the distractions of home to air travel (”Sky-high fun: Airliners are fast becoming flying entertainment centers”).
Are we becoming so impoverished mentally that we need constant outside stimulus so we won`t have to think? How can you take a trip to ”get away from it all” only to have it ”all” follow you on the journey?
I have a suggestion that will save money. Why not install ”flying libraries” and provide their passengers with something to read in peace and quiet. Such a radical idea ought to appeal to such forward looking operators.
