Richard T. Rauscher, 62, a longtime camera technician, died Monday in St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Mr. Rauscher, who worked for several photo companies as a service manager and technician from 1951 until his death, lived on Chicago`s Northwest Side until moving to Niles eight years ago. For the last three years, he owned a camera repair shop in Northbrook and then in Chicago. He was a Korean War veteran. Mr. Rauscher is survived by his wife, Jeannette; three sons, William, Thomas and Robert; a daughter, Patricia Pappas; a stepson, Philip Karavakis; and four stepdaughters, Maria McElroy, Kathleen Cassata, Teresa Karavakis and Alexa Dembeck; a brother; two sisters; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Skaja- Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John Brebeuf Catholic Church, 8307 N. Harlem Ave., Niles.
