Charles E. deRivera, 43, an executive vice president at the First American Bank in Buffalo Grove and president of the Lake County Economic Development Commission, died Thursday in Lake Forest Hospital. Born in Waukegan, he lived in Libertyville for the past five years and formerly lived in Vernon Hills. Survivors include his wife, Susan; two daughters, Cindy and Catherine; his parents, Dorothy and James Sr.; a sister; and three brothers. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, West Maple and Douglas Avenues, Libertyville.
