Michigan is threatening to sue General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Co. and Chrysler Corp. for polluting the now-closed G&H Landfill in Shelby Township, Mich. The Department of Natural Resources ranks the landfill as one of the state`s two most polluted sites. . . . The estates of two of the 27 people killed in the crash of a USAir jetliner in New York in March have sued Dow Chemical Co. and three other firms for a combined $80 million. The suit in federal court in Cleveland names Midland, Mich.-based Dow, the de-icer used on the Fokker F28 airplane. The suit also names USAir Inc., Fokker Aircraft USA Inc. and Rolls Royce Motor Cars Inc.
