The third edition of the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language will be out in several weeks. There are 16,000 new entries, including these:

Aggro: n., pl. Chiefly British. Irritation and exasperation: ”Postponing new hospitals and roads causes far less aggro than sacking town hall or Whitehall workers.”

Bliss-out: n. Slang. Ecstasy; bliss.

Blivit: n. Slang. Something annoying, superfluous or pointless.

Body popping: n. Slang. A type of dancing characterized by convulsive body movements and mimed robotic gestures.

Dweeb: n. Slang. A subservient person; a flunky.

Igg: tr. v. To ignore.

New York Minute: n. Slang. An extremely short period of time.

Sixty-nine: n. Vulgar slang. Oral-genital sex between two people at the same time.

Suss: tr. v. Slang. To infer or discover; figure out: ”I think I`m good at sussing out what`s going on.” (Ry Cooder.)
