Anthony S. DeRosa, 64, president of Chicagoland Mortgage Co. of Chicago, died Tuesday in his Lake Zurich home. An inventor active in promoting civic issues, Mr. DeRosa held a patent on an air ventilation system and, in 1979, was the recipient of an humanitarian award presented by the Chicago Jewish-American Committee. He was a former commander in Lake Zurich of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11020. Mr. DeRosa is survived by his wife, Sigrid; three sons, Sal, Tony and Ross; three stepsons, Larry Doren, Mitch Doren and Jason Doren; a brother; a sister; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Original Rago Brothers Norridge Chapels at 7751 W. Irving Park Rd. A funeral service will be held there at 8 p.m. Thursday.
