Gate prices at Walt Disney World in Florida went up last month, rising by $1 for single-day passes and bringing the cost of a one-day pass to $34 for adults and children 10 and older, and to $27 for children 3 to 9.
Prices for four-day Super Passes jumped $2, bringing them to $118 for those 10 and older, $93 for those younger. Super Passes are good for unlimited admission to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center and Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park.
The biggest increase was for the five-day Super Duper Pass, which rose $10 to $162 for adults, and climbed $8 to $128 for visitors ages 3-9. Super Duper Passes also allow admission to several nearby Disney attractions such as River Country and Typhoon Lagoon.
The multiday passes have no expiration date, a pricing strategy that encourages return trips if a pass-holder uses only a portion of a pass` value. When Epcot opened in 1982, joining the Magic Kingdom, a one-day adult pass was $15 and a four-day pass was $45.
