William Robert Haak, 48, founder and owner of Haak Trucking Co. in Lansing, died Friday at his Lansing residence. Mr. Haak also was the developer of the Haakland Estates housing development in Ontario, Canada. He is survived by his wife, Carla; two sons, William and Benjamin; a daughter, Carla Frances Johanna; and one sister. Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Monday in Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the First Reformed Church of Lansing, 3134 Ridge Rd. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, on Thornton-Lansing Road in Lansing.
