Cecilia A. Hirsch, 87, a longtime resident of the southwest suburbs and a retired Christ Hospital volunteer, died Friday in Palos Community Hospital, Palos Heights. Mrs. Hirsch worked for many years in the Christ Hospital Auxiliary`s Country Thrift Shoppe at 1800 W. 95th Street in Chicago. She is survived by her husband, Wendelin ”Bill” Hirsch; a son, John; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister. Mass will be said Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Alexander Catholic Church, 126th Street and 71st Avenue, Palos Heights.
