I note with interest the quote on page 23 of the July 26 Tribune
(doubtless from one of the Navy`s ”finest”): ” `If I were in trouble over enemy territory, I couldn`t count on a woman to save my butt,` said one who insisted on anonymity.” Stalwart fellow, that-to be so outspoken and to be anonymous at the same time.
With his attitude, though, it`s lucky he`s honest enough to realize the truth about his shortcomings, and he`s probably correct. No woman would want to save that part of his anatomy.
