I am disappointed in your presidential campaign coverage thus far. You seem more concerned with how the candidates are attempting to out-maneuver each other rather than the issues at hand.

For instance, in your July 29 coverage of Gov. Clinton`s speech at LaGrange Memorial Hospital, only two paragraphs out of more than 25 were devoted to the actual substance of Clinton`s health care discussion. The rest of the article focused on which Illinois Democrats are now campaigning for Clinton.

Health care is rated consistently as one of the issues U.S. citizens are most concerned with, and we are hungry for information about how the candidates intend to improve the system.

The Tribune wrongly presumes that its readers are more interested in an analysis of the ”donkey and elephant race” than in positions on issues of great import.
