Michael John Nicholls, 36, of Lake Villa, died Sunday. Born in Waukegan, he was employed as a cook at Saluto`s and the Backyard Steak Pit in Gurnee. He is survived by his parents, Alfred and Carol; his paternal grandmother, Flo Young; and two sisters. Services were held Wednesday in Wadsworth.
