Lee A. Marple, 75, an area resident for 27 years, died Tuesday in St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was a retired cement loader with the Marquette Cement Company in Waukegan. He was a member of the Zion-Benton Moose Lodge and the Lake Villa American Legion. He was also a founder of the Lake County Horseshoe League. He is survived by his wife, Bessie; a daughter, Linda Ruthenberg; two sons, William and Charles; a brother; two sisters; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion.
