Edward A. Parkey, 79, a former car dealer, died Saturday in Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn. Mr. Parkey, past president of the National Automobile Dealers Association, owned and managed Parkey Rambler Inc. on the South Side from 1959 until he retired from car sales in 1972. Survivors include four daughters, Patricia Ann Murphy, Kay Thompson, and Gladys and Nancy Parkey; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9349 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn.
