Allegedly, George Bush is dedicated to keeping this campaign above personal attacks and focused on the issues. The recent news release from his campaign`s political director is clearly contrary to the president`s stated purpose.
This contradiction can mean one of two things. Either George Bush has no control over his closest aides, in which case he is an ineffectual leader, or our president says one thing and does another, in which case he is not deserving of our trust. In either case, he is not deserving of a second term.
