Iris Peters, 81, a retired officer of Community Savings and Loan, 4801 W. Belmont Ave., died Monday in St. Francis Hospital, Evanston. At Community, where she worked for 25 years, she was in charge of real estate and insurance, said her longtime friend and companion, Lillian A. Bruening. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. James Lutheran Church, 7400 W. Foster Ave. Services will follow.
