William McClevey, 71, a retired boat yard operator, died Tuesday at Elmhurst Hospital. Mr. McClevey moved to Elmhurst six years ago after living in Oak Park for many years. Before he retired about 10 years ago, Mr. McClevey operated the AAA Boat Yard, 1111 N. Elston Ave. Mr. McClavey took part in 25 Chicago-to-Mackinac races. Mr. McClevey is survived by his wife, Nell; a sister; and two brothers. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday.
