A scissors-wielding man robbed McLean Amoco, 338 S. McLean Blvd., of $90 Wednesday morning, police said. The suspect, dressed in bright orange shorts and coat and wearing a red baseball cap, walked in at 6 a.m., used the restroom and left. He returned a few minutes later, bought a nickel piece of candy and left again. At 6:30 a.m., the man returned and asked for a quarter in exchange for 25 pennies. When the clerk opened the register, the man pulled out scissors, grabbed the money from the drawer and fled on foot, police said.
