The subject of how women cope with traumas great and small is explored by three video artists in this week`s installment of ”Through Her Eyes,” a learning Channel series featuring work by women filmmakers and hosted by Emmy Award-winning actress and director Lee Grant.
Sunday`s program includes Meri Weingarten`s ”Walking to Rape,” about three survivors of sexual assault: ”The Wounding,” by Susan Emerling, about the mother-daughter bond; and ”A Desperate Woman,” a light-hearted look at a session at a beauty parlor.
”Through Her Eyes” airs at 6 p.m. Sunday on the Learning Channel. The series runs weekly through September.
