A Japanese man who confessed to forcing Korean women to be sex slaves during World War II has denounced his government for refusing to compensate the victims. ”It is the largest war crime in the 20th Century. Even God cannot forgive (it),” asserted Seiji Yoshida, 78, during an emotional meeting with several dozen Korean victims, their families and reporters in Seoul. Yoshida is the first to confess publicly to being involved in the systematic kidnapping of Korean women to become prostitutes for Japanese troops.
