Police are looking for a self-proclaimed murder suspect who they say shot a former girlfriend with a stun gun and then robbed her Monday in the Colonial Lodge Motel, 788 Villa St.

Police said they have issued a warrant for the arrest of Terry L. Bock, 31, address unknown, in connection with the armed robbery of a 28-year-old Detroit woman. The woman was not injured.

The victim told police she called the suspect`s sister early Sunday to ask about him, and the two women decided to meet later in the afternoon.

When the victim arrived at the meeting place about 2 p.m., the suspect showed up instead of his sister and the two went out, police said.

The pair reportedly returned to her motel room at 3 a.m., Monday, where they stayed for about two hours. During that time, the man told her that he was wanted for murder and he had been living in a tent somewhere near Elgin, police said.

At 5 a.m., the suspect stuck a knife to the victim`s throat for a moment and then shot her with a stun gun, police said. The man grabbed her purse, which contained $200, tied her up with shoelaces and fled, police said.
