After putting an egregious $6.30-per-day tax on nursing home patients, it is obvious Gov. Edgar and Illinois legislators will never evolve to a higher level. Hopefully the voters of Illinois will retire all incumbents in November. This will give them an opportunity to experience life in the real world. This may sound like a single-issue item, but it points out their lack of sensitivity on all issues before them.
