Alexander Wasniewski, 82, a retired school superintendent in North Chicago Elementary School District 187, formerly known as District 63, and a longtime resident of North Chicago, died Tuesday in St. Therese Medical Center, Waukegan. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; two sons, Robert and Thomas; a daughter, Marsha Blitzer; three sisters; and a grandchild. Services were private.
