Stella Murman, 77, an artist of Polish folklore, died Tuesday in Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Mrs. Murman, a resident of the Edison Park neighborhood, had been an artist in the Chicago area for 45 years. Her artwork, which includes portraits as well as folklore scenes, appears in several Northwest Side restaurants. Survivors include a daughter, Diane Flanders; two sons, Raymond and Richard; and five grandchildren. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Juliana Church, 7142 N. Osceola Ave.
