In response to Mike Royko`s Aug. 7 column, ”Bald truth: Milken a crook to admire,” I have to disagree. As Mr. Royko pointed out, Milken was much better educated and more cunning than his comparative hard-core type criminal and, therefore, should be admired. Well, with all of Milken`s education and stealth, how come he got caught?
Considering the small amount of money that the hard-core criminal spends on education, and the relative little time they do behind bars, I think that dollar for dollar he is the one who should be admired.
