Dr. Daniel C. Ludwig, 61, of Wilmette, died Saturday in Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. Mr. Ludwig had a general practice for more than 30 years, and had offices at 5360 N. Lincoln Ave. He was on the staff of Walther Memorial, Edgewater and Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center. He graduated from Chicago Medical School in 1957. He was born and raised in the Albany Park neighborhood. He is survived by his wife, Lesley; two sons, Mark Ludwig and Gregg Greenstein; two daughters, Julie Gold and Shari; his parents, Maurice and Mary Ludwig; a brother; and a sister. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Weinstein Brothers Funeral Home Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
