The Citizens Advisory Committee of the Fox Valley Expressway, a group advising the state on planning the proposed highway, is looking for a new chief after the resignation of Chairman Thomas A. Zarle.
Zarle, president of Aurora University, indicated he would resign
”several weeks ago.. due to pressing needs at the university,” said Duane Carlson, chief engineer at the Illinois Department of Transportation`s District 1 office in Schaumburg.
”We will be developing a list of potential candidates for chairman, and that list will be submitted to Secretary (Kirk) Brown for approval,” Carlson said at last week`s meeting in Aurora of the Citizens Advisory Committee.
