Regarding Terry Wilson`s Sept. 14 article about car thief Charles Gross, can someone please explain why the Tribune saw fit to include the comment that Mr. Gross was ”toying with a yarmulke he had been wearing” during the interview? How is this relevant other than to specifically indicate that Mr. Gross is Jewish?
Does the Tribune have future plans to note the observance of a crucifix around the neck of convicted or incarcerated individuals being interviewed?
