Ann Rosenbery, 81, a retired schoolteacher, died Saturday in Paxton, Ford County. Mrs. Rosenbery lived in Oak Park for 47 years before she recently moved to Park Forest. She taught elementary school for 29 years before retiring in 1973. She taught at the Tilton School in Danville and, for many years, at the Ogden School in La Grange. She graduated with degrees in education from the former Normal Teachers College and the National College of Education. She is survived by a son, Joseph; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m Tuesday in Postlewait Village Chapel, 523 Lake St., Oak Park, followed by services.
