Nathan Shefner, 99, a longtime lawyer, died Friday at his Chicago home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Shefner continued practicing law until his death. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; a son, Richard; a daughter, Harriet Ruff; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at 3600 N. Lake Shore Drive.
