If we could muster up the brains to elect good congressmen, possibly we could get them to pass laws, or at least a referendum, to outlaw all political action committees (bribes) and eliminate all lobbyists (more bribes).
With all the money our congressmen are budgeted for research staff, we don`t need outside influences to promote their own selfish interests.
Getting Congress back to work for all the citizens instead of selfish groups is long overdue.
