Thomas M. Smyth, 70, a retired manager for the Corrugated Paper Division of International Paper Co., died Wednesday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove. He was a resident of Glen Ellyn. During World War II, he served in the Army engineers. Survivors include his wife, Jean; two sons, Joseph and Tom;
three grandchildren; and a brother. Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Friday in Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 1S365 S. Main St., Lombard.
