Humbolt Park residents and sculptors, Anne O`Malley and Camella Saraceno, who formed the group Artists and Children Together (ACT), say they had to ask neighborhood gangs` permission to paint over gang graffiti on a wall in a vacant lot for a group project. The women organized showings of children`s films from the back of a pickup truck onto the white-washed wall.
