Rhoda S. Pomerantz, M.D., chief of geriatric medicine at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Care Center, is the first woman to be named Clinician of the Year by the American Geriatrics Society in New York. Pomerantz will be honored at the 49th annual meeting of the society in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 17.
