Those who organized the Chicago Marathon on Oct. 25 should be commended. It was a pleasure to be a participant in an event that showed this great city at its best.
Not only was the route a showcase of the neighborhoods and architecture of the city, but also people along the way cheered the runners on, making it a rewarding experience for all.
Chicagoans can truly be proud of this major event.
