Ever wish you went to Bayside High with Zack, Slater, Kelly and those fun-loving kids from ”Saved by the Bell”?

Well, you`re really gonna wish so now because the kids all go to Hawaii for ”Saved By the Bell – Hawaiian Style.” The special airs at 7 p.m. Friday on NBC. Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who plays Zack in the special and the Saturday morning show, gave us the dope on what`s expected to be the final chapter for ”SBTB.”

”Making the movie was a fun goodbye,” Mark-Paul says.

”We all knew we wouldn`t be working with each other again so we just tried to enjoy it; you see it on our faces that we weren`t just acting, we were really having a good time.”

Although the a.m. sitcom always had outstanding ratings, producers decided to call it quits after taping ended five months ago. You`ll still be seeing new episodes for several months, though, then the show will go into syndication. (And the ”SBTB” dolls are coming out soon. Really!)

”I guess (the network) felt we were getting too old for the parts,”

says Mark-Paul, 18. ”It was time to move on.”

He`s found other jobs: a guest spot on ”Blossom” and a starring role in ”White Wolves,” a movie that will be out next year.

But it was ”SBTB” that made Mark-Paul a heartthrob.

”I get a lot of letters,” he says. ”Girls want to know if I`m single

(he is) and what I like to do (weighlift, surf, ski, ride motorcycle).”

Offscreen, Mark-Paul is also good friends with castmates Mario Lopez

(Slater) and Tiffani-Amber Thiessen (Kelly).

”Mario and I both like sports a lot,” he explains, ”and Tiffani is like a sister – I can do anything in front of her.”

While Mark-Paul and Tiffani-Amber have gotten romantic on-screen, ”in real life,” he laughs, ”she`s dating my cousin!”
