Q-Is it true the White Sox are trying to sign Greg Maddux?
A-I`ve talked to his agent and his agent says we`re one of the clubs he`s interested in.
Q-Would the Sox be willing to give Maddux $32 million for five years?
A-We haven`t talked money yet. (He laughs.) What I`d like to do is sign him for $2 million.
