Dr. Kathryn C. Bemmann has been elected president of the American Medical Women`s Association, the largest group of female physicians and medical students in the U.S. Bemmann, an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and a staff member of the Waukesha County Mental Center, assumes the presidency of the 12,000-member organization based in Alexandria, Va., next November . One goal: improve women`s health as a medical specialty.
