Ronald Ross Huber, 40, a local AIDS activist, died Thursday in his Chicago home after a five-year battle with the disease. Mr. Huber, who was born in Michigan, worked with ACT-UP and was a chef at several Chicago restaurants. He is survived by his companion, Dennis Jay Lenk; a son, David; a daughter, Amanda; his mother, Wanda; and a brother.
