The photograph of slain Calvin Green that you printed on the front page of the Jan. 1 issue of the Tribune is the absolute cruelest, poorest taste in journalism that I have ever seen.
Isn’t it bad enough that the young man’s parents, family and friends are grieving and suffering without your splashing the front page with that photo?
It is apparent that you media persons do not have any feelings, just plain cold freedom of the press. I imagine your “New Year 1994” will publish this photo as an outstanding photo of the year 1993.
