James O’Donnell, 59, a lieutenant with the Chicago Fire Department and a resident of the Mt. Greenwood neighborhood, died Saturday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He was a former president of the Gaelic Fire Brigade and Hook & Ladder Co. 37. Survivors include his wife, Alice; two daughters, Mary and Kimberly Reif; a stepson, John; his mother, Bonita; and two brothers. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Christina Catholic Church, 111th Street and Christiana Avenue.
