– Nebraska 62, Colorado 50-Nafeesah Brown scored 23 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked two shots in Lincoln, Neb., as the Lady Huskers handed No. 4 Colorado its first loss of the season.
Brown, in her fourth start for Nebraska (12-4, 3-2), matched her career scoring high. The 6-foot-1-inch junior from Harlan High School was averaging 11 points and 4.5 rebounds a game. Mindy Henry led Colorado (15-1, 3-1) with 16 points.
– Iowa 79, Indiana 50-Toni Foster had 16 points and six rebounds for the No. 6 Hawkeyes (12-1, 5-0) in a Big 10 game in Iowa City.
Marla Inman had 12 points to lead No. 23 Indiana (11-2, 2-2).
– Ohio State 90, Michigan 73-Nikki Keyton scored 20 points and the No. 8 Buckeyes (12-1, 4-0) took advantage of 24 Michigan turnovers in Big 10 play in Columbus, Ohio. Trish Andrew led the Wolverines (1-13, 0-5) with 24 points.
– Minnesota 67, Purdue 51-Stacy Carver scored 15 points as the Gophers (7-5, 2-2) upset No. 15 Purdue in Minneapolis. Freshman Stacy Lovelace led the Boilermakers (9-5, 1-4) with 12 points.
– Chicago 65, Case Western Reserve 60-Ali Lejlic scored 22 points as the host Maroons broke a six-game losing streak in a Universities Athletic Association game. Chicago (6-9, 1-4) led 25-23 at the half. Matt Benz added 13 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds for the Maroons. Ron Jezerinac’s 23 points to lead Case Western Reserve (7-8, 4-3).
– Cornell 79, Lake Forest 69 (OT)-Jeff Gilmore’s tip-in at the buzzer tied the game at the end of regulation and Cornell of Iowa (9-4) outscored host Lake Forest 15-5 in overtime. Lake Forest (1-10) was led by Ben Bongratz’s 18 points.
