An all-female color guard and a lecture about unsung women in U.S. history will be featured at a luncheon Saturday marking the 50th anniversary of the Marine Corps Women Reserves. Members served during World War II in administrative support roles, according to Muriel Underwood, spokeswoman for the reserves’ Chicago chapter.
