Anna Quindlen’s comment at the end of her Feb. 2 column was insulting. In saying, “If Rush Limbaugh had been on the air in 1863, how many listeners would have called in to applaud the Emancipation Proclamation?”
I’m sorry to shock Ms. Quindlen off her high liberal horse, but just because someone happens to be conservative (which isn’t rare by any stretch), and happens to listen to Limbaugh, it doesn’t mean that person is an intolerant, homophobic racist!
Perhaps if Miss Quindlen listened to Limbaugh long enough, she could make an accurate assessment of his listeners.
