A onetime mob enforcer for the Lenny Patrick street crew was sentenced to 11 1/2 years in prison Wednesday for helping in two severe beatings and the attempted firebombing of an Oak Park theater.
Nicholas Gio, 26, enjoyed the beatings “so much he didn’t want to get paid,” said Assistant U.S. Atty. Mark Vogel.
